Area Labor Federation (ALF)

The ALF is a chartered organization of the National AFL-CIO and is a coalition of Local Unions, Central Labor Councils, and AFL-CIO Constituency Groups. The ALF works to stimulate and coordinate communications and mobilization activity among affiliates and allies in an area of 5 to 20 counties.  The ALF focuses on supporting the legislative, political, organizing, and solidarity goals of the labor movement in Ohio and nationally.  Each ALF is governed by an elected Executive Council, headed by a President and Secretary-Treasurer.
