In recent years, few organizations have been able to advance a progressive agenda with the same success as the Ohio AFL-CIO. In 2006 alone, the Ohio AFL-CIO and its friends in the labor community stood together as one to reduce drug costs for uninsured Ohioans, raise wages for low-income workers and elect candidates who value Ohio’s working families.
