Ohio Health Care Trust
Ohio labor unions, under the auspices of the Ohio AFL-CIO, have partnered with Michigan unions to create a non-profit trust to offer high-quality care at below-market rates. Michigan unions created their Public Employee Trust in 1985 to reduce costs, improve quality and gain more control over their benefits and their premiums. After two years of research and negotiations, Michigan and Ohio unions decided to join forces. Read more>>

National Labor College
Although NLC is the only institution of higher learning that focuses exclusively on the higher education needs of labor union leaders and members, there are a number of other colleges that offer outstanding programs in labor studies. NLC has formed partnerships with a number of these institutions in order to permit students to jointly enroll in these programs while accumulating credits toward a Bachelor of Arts degree from NLC.
